ABSTRACT:  Nanoclusters (NCs) with self-assembled building blocks are of great importance for tuning optical and chemical properties via tailoring their size and shape. However, the choice of ligands is critical in such NCs’ synthesis. A judicious selection of bidentate thiol (S2R) ligands paves the way to discover plenty of clusters of particular interest. Demonstrated in the presentation the synthesis, self-assembly, optical properties and crystallographic characterization of noble atomically precise silver nanocluster.
